Proverbs 2:9-11

Then you will understand what is right and just and fair–every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you and understanding will guard you.

You might struggle to see your prodigal this way because they’ve made some bad decisions and most likely have not been walking a “good path.” That’s why we have to keep praying this over them! To picture them with an understanding of what is right, just, and fair and then doing it, brings encouragement to our hearts!

I pray that someday soon the prodigal will walk on “every good path” with wisdom and knowledge and discretion. Be encouraged as you pray this over your prodigal…..
