Psalm 46:1-3

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

This verse is a visual of severe circumstances. When our world seems to be falling apart, and we find ourselves being engulfed, God will be our refuge and strength.

I pray that the prodigal won’t let fear over take them even though they may feel engulfed by roaring waters or the ground may quake beneath them. I pray they find His ever-present peace and answers are within reach.
