Day 251

2 Samuel 7:29

Now be pleased to bless the house of your servant that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, O Sovereign Lord, have spoken, and with your blessing the house of your servant will be blessed forever.

This excerpt is from the prayer David lifted up after hearing Nathan’s revelation regarding his house. God declared through Nathan that His love would never be taken from him and his house (and kingdom) would endure forever before HIm.

It prompts me to pray over my own family. I feel the need to be diligent in speaking God’s promises over our children, our prodigals, and pray for the breaking off of strongholds in our line. It’s time to bring to end some of the things the enemy has perpetuated for generations.

My prayer is for my family, including the prodigal, that there be blessing on our house from here forward! Pray, placing your family name in the blank then again as you place your prodigal’s name… may they be truly blessed of the Lord and their family after them.
