Nehemiah 9:32a NLT
And now, our God, the great and mighty and awesome God, who keeps His covenant of unfailing love, do not let all the hardships we have suffered seem insignificant to You.
Our great and awesome Creator God bends down to personalize His relationship with mankind, keeping His covenant of love. Be assured He does see us, He is for us and we are not insignificant to Him.
I pray the prodigal will recognize the greatness of God yet know He is intimately concerned about them. What they are going through is not insignificant to Him. His covenant of love still extends to them even though they have chosen to disregard Him.

And now, ________’s God, the great and mighty and awesome God, who keeps His covenant of unfailing love, do not let all the hardships he/she has suffered seem insignificant to You.
Can you help me? I am trying to figure out how to claim these promises for prodigal if they are NOT walking with God right now? Do we pray and claim them in faith?

Exactly. A prodigal is one who is NOT walking with God, has chosen to run from him and squander their inheritance. I’ve continued to pray and claim these verses seeing my prodigal’s future self and not where they are walking today. It’s an encouraging way to walk by faith and not by sight. I pray you can visualize your prodigal someday walking with the Lord, strong in faith. Blessings!
