Day 111

John 15:7-8 (NLT)

If you stay joined to me and my words remain in you, you may ask whatever you like, and it will be granted. My true disciples produce much fruit. This brings great glory to my Father.

Fruit can only be produced by a branch that is getting nourishment from the vine and it’s roots. It is vital for this branch to stay connected to the strong and capable vine. Even what we “ask” for will take on the flavor of that vine.

I picture our prodigals attached to this vine called Jesus Christ. I pray they will see overwhelming results as they remain there. May they realize they can’t accomplish big things, “much fruit” for God, without this vital connection.
