Psalm 91:1-2

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ”He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Part of the meaning of the word “rest” here is – an undetermined amount of time. When we choose to dwell in His presence, rest will be ours for as long as we stay in that sheltered place. If you are weary today, rest in Him and the fact that He loves you!

I pray for the prodigal, that they will have complete trust in this God who loves them and find in Him a refuge and fortress. Though life may bring circumstances out of their control, I pray they will always be at rest in Him.

I pray for the prodigal, that they will come to trust this God who loves them and find in Him a refuge and fortress. Though life may throw them circumstances out of their control, I pray they will always be at rest in Him.
