Matthew 7:11

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!

Just a reminder on this Father’s Day of what a wonderful heavenly Father we have, one who desires the prodigal to come home so He can lavish extravagant love on them!

I pray your prodigal is on their way home and has been asking for and receiving good gifts from the Father!

Matthew 7:11

Psalm 5:7-8 (NLT)

Because of your unfailing love, I can enter your house; with deepest awe I will worship at your temple. Lead me in the right path, O Lord, or my enemies will conquer me. Tell me clearly what to do, and show me which way to turn.

What an awesome promise — that the prodigal can stand before the throne, not because of anything they have done but, because of His unfailing love for them! There is no one on earth who loves our prodigal like their Creator.

I pray the prodigal will, one day, worship with awe because they recognize what God’s done for them. May they learn to actively listen to His voice, make choices based on what they hear Him clearly saying and their enemies have no power over them.

Psalm 5:7-8 (NLT)

Because of your unfailing love, ________ can enter your house; with deepest awe ________ will worship at your temple. Lead ________in the right path, O Lord, or his/her enemies will conquer him/her. Tell ________ clearly what to do, and show him/her which way to turn.

John 15:7-8 (NLT)

If you stay joined to me and my words remain in you, you may ask whatever you like, and it will be granted. My true disciples produce much fruit. This brings great glory to my Father.

Fruit can only be produced by a branch; a branch that is getting nourishment from a vine, fed from the roots. It is vital for this branch to stay connected to the strong and capable vine in order to produce continual fruit.

I picture our prodigals attached to this vine called Jesus Christ. I pray they will see overwhelming results as they remain there and whatever they ask be granted because it will glorify the Father.
