Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him, must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
My prodigal struggles with believing God really is (or even wants to be) involved with our day-to-day lives. It’s not enough to just believe God exists. That’s a start, but God desires more than mere acknowledgment of His existence. He wants a personal, dynamic relationship with us, one that will transform our life. God will reward those who seek Him in earnest with an abundant, fulfilling life and eternity with Him.
I am praying that the prodigal who has had the faith to believe God exists will begin to see that God wants to have an intimate relationship with them. God will reward them for their effort.
