1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

As Ecclesiastes says, “there’s nothing new under the sun”. The prodigal will not encounter any temptation that has not been around for a long time. God’s promise – He provides a way out.

I’m praying the prodigal will begin to recognize their strongest temptations…then in God’s strength, choose to walk away at their first chance of escape. May they learn to quickly identify any trap the enemy has set for them.
