Psalm 25:8-10 NLT

The Lord is good and does what is right; He shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them His way. The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep His covenant and obey His demands.

The Lord is always ready to lead if we will defer to Him instead of blindly going our own way. Can I leave room in my plans for a change of direction, if He so desires? Humility and obedience are key; recognizing it’s not our plans that give us success, but His unfailing love and faithfulness.

Let’s pray the prodigal will recognize God’s desire to lead them and welcome it. May they be humble as they do what’s right in His eyes and realize His faithfulness and love as doors open before them on a “proper” path.
