Psalm 139:14-16

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

As a parent, we know our children are wonderfully made and so unique in temperament and talent. It is a great comfort to know that God knew them before we did; as they were being woven together in the womb. The book on their life was written from the very beginning and for our prodigals, the best years are ahead; He’s not finished with them yet!

I pray today that the prodigal will grasp the uniqueness that is theirs and realize a loving God has set their life in motion for great things. I pray they will rise to the calling on their life.
