Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace, as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Joy, peace, hope are all ours as we trust in Christ. There is no other religion and no other person who can bring this kind of hope, joy and peace. All others require work in order to satisfy earthly man’s expectations; or the expectations of a fabricated idol. How blessed we are to have a personal God who has delivered us from the consequences of our sin by the blood of His own son.

I pray today for the prodigal to overflow with hope, be filled up with joy to overflowing and walk in peace because they are trusting in Jesus Christ and have been given power to accomplish it through the Holy Spirit.
