Psalm 117

Praise the Lord all you nations; extol Him, all you people. For great is His love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord.

If God did nothing else for me but love me, it would still be enough to give Him praise all of my life. God’s love and faithfulness is what keeps me going when days are difficult. There have been times in my life I didn’t feel loved, but looking back I never felt abandoned or hopeless. This has to be because of God’s faithfulness in love toward me.

As parents of a prodigal, many times, we are after behavior modification. What we really should desire is for the love of God to capture the prodigal. This can truly modify their behavior!

Let’s continue praying that God’s love would overwhelm and change the heart of the prodigal….
