1 John 4:4

You dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

“Them” in this passage are those who have the spirit of antichrist and don’t acknowledge the truth about Jesus. We are living in times when everything but Jesus is honored, lifted up and worshipped. But, a time is coming when those who deny Him will be put on the stand and proclaimed guilty and await sentencing. We, who love Christ, are overcomers because He lives in us.

I pray the prodigal will tap into the power of Christ within to overcome all that the world throws at them. May God open their eyes to the deceit of the spirit of antichrist.
