Colossians 2:9-10

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.

fullness = absoluteness, entireness, completeness, perfectness, wholeness

Christ was fully God. When we have Him we have everything we need, not only for salvation, but also for living a righteous life. Christ alone holds the answers to the true meaning of life because He IS life. He is our unique source of knowledge and power. This is a hard concept for the non-believing world to grasp; even for some Christians it’s as if Christ isn’t quite enough.

I pray the prodigal will recognize the “fullness” power they have in the one who is head over everything. I pray they will not be tempted to seek out other religions and philosophies to find “fullness” in this life.
