Joshua 10:25

Joshua said to them, “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. This is what the LORD will do to all the enemies you are going to fight.”

When five kings, who had been defeated, were brought before Joshua, he had his army commanders put their foot on the necks of the kings and spoke these encouraging words to Israel. Joshua was a great warrior and leader because he had amazing trust in God’s ability to fight for him.

My prayer today is for our prodigals to be strong and have courage. I pray they can visualize how God is fighting for them and begin to see themselves victorious. I hope you can picture your prodigal with his foot on the neck of the enemy!
