2 Timothy 1:12

Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him for that day.

When we come to know Christ and take Him as Savior, we have entrusted to Him our very lives and eternal future. Confidently we believe, when the day comes to leave this life and enter the next, what He says about Himself is true. We have boldness in sharing the Good News with others because nothing we do, or don’t do, can change our eternity.

Our prodigals are something that we very much entrust to God’s faithful guarding. Lets pray that the prodigal will come to know, without wavering, whose they are and that whatever they entrust to Him, He will be faithful to guard until that day.
