The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.

We tend to see someone in brokenness as weak. Yet, a heart that is repentant and broken over sin touches the Father’s heart. In Old Testament days, a sacrifice was required, but what He desires from us is recognition of our sin and a brokenhearted approach concerning it. He may reject the sin but will never reject us, because we believe in His Son, the greatest sacrifice.

Pray that your prodigal will find themselves broken over their sin; that they will have a repentant heart before the Lord.
