Psalm 119:65-68 The Message
Be good to your servant, God; be as good as your Word. Train me in good common sense; I’m thoroughly committed to living your way. Before I learned to answer you, I wandered all over the place, but now I’m in step with your Word. You are good, and the source of good; train me in your goodness.
God ALWAYS has our best interest at heart. He is the final authority on everything, and He is always fair. He is good and what He does is good. (Unlike the enemy who intends evil but disguises it as good) If we are committed to learning how to live as Christ, He will be faithful to train us, even train us to have good common sense.
I pray the wandering prodigal is learning how to live in step with the Word and that they desire the training God is anxious to provide them. May they understand and appreciate His goodness toward them.
