Psalm 43:3-4a

Send forth your light and your truth, let them guide me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Then will I go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and my delight.

In modern day, our desire is not to be in the temple or at the altar, but at the foot of the cross. There is where our praise is birthed and where God’s Word will lead us.

My prayer for the prodigal is that God’s light and truth would lead them to the cross and at the cross they will not be able to contain their joy and delight in what God has done for them!
