1 John 3:1a

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!

Do we really recognize what we have because of Christ? That we are in the “family” and lavishly loved? It should give us great joy and comfort to know that we have all the rights and privileges of our Father’s Kingdom; we are a child of the King!

My prayer today, is that the prodigal will be overwhelmed by the love God lavishes on them as His child. May it capture them, turn them upside down and be a turning point in their walk with Him.
