Proverbs 19:21

Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

I’m a great planner, almost to a fault, but I have to remember God has final authority in my life. It serves me well to remember there is purpose in every season, even when life doesn’t go exactly as I might have planned.

I pray that the prodigal is learning to seek God’s will over their plans and that they would truly desire His purposes to prevail in their life.
