Psalm 112:1-2

Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in His commands. His children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.

What a powerful promise! I can get excited about the prodigal’s children and future generations benefiting from a parent that finds delight in the commands of the Lord.

I pray the prodigal will become just that – one who fears the Lord and finds great delight in His Word. May they, their children and their children’s children be blessed in return!
