Psalm 63:6-9

On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.

Lying in bed at night when all is quiet can be a time of deep thought. Some may fall into depression and hopelessness during this time. Those who are in the shadow of the Father’s wings, will be able to sing through the night, even in uncertain times. We know the strength of His hand is upholding us.

I pray as the prodigal lies down to sleep they will know they are protected in the shadow of His wing, upheld by His mighty hand, and a song will flow past their lips.
