Proverbs 10:25 NLT

When the storms of life come, the wicked are whirled away, but the godly have a lasting foundation.

I like to believe that the foundation we have given the prodigal will serve them during the storms of life. God is faithful and will recall to their minds His Word and His loving kindness, things that have been planted in their hearts over years of our faithfully sowing into them.

I pray that these very foundational seeds will take root by some watering from tears of repentance and spring to life, as God is faithful to shine His light on them. May the storm they find themselves in at present not carry them away because of the solid foundation on which they stand.
