Hebrews 12:5

“My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those He loves, and He punishes everyone He accepts as a son.”

Someone who doesn’t understand the concept of God’s discipline might lose heart in the process. I pray our prodigals will know that their Heavenly Father disciplines out of His wonderful love for them and with a desire to lead them to abundant living!
