Proverbs 16:33 (NLT)

We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall.

God has given us a free will and the ability to choose as we want. We love to be in control of things most days and may give little thought to how God would have us live; yet, He is determining our steps.

The prodigal has “thrown the dice,” so to speak, and tried living a life away from God. Little do they know, the Father has determined how their life will play out and has a plan for getting them there. He is wooing, directing and moving heaven and earth to bring them full circle and back to Himself.

I’m praying today that even though the prodigal thinks they are in full control of the direction of their life, God’s powerful influence will be clearly evident in the days ahead.
