Proverbs 21:3-6
To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin! The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. A fortune made by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor and a deadly snare.
May our prodigal’s hearts always be quickened by the Holy Spirit to do what is right and just; not to lie. I pray they will not be proud or greedy but humble and generous with what God has given them. I also pray they will be diligent, hard workers and God’s blessing will be on them because they desire to see Him glorified.
