Your words were found and I ate them, and your words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart; for I have been called by your name, O Lord God of hosts.

Old Testament characters had a limited amount of scripture, so, I love to read of this hunger and desire for what little of God’s Word they did have. How much more should we desire the whole of Scripture today…. God speaks as clearly through it now as he did in Jeremiah’s day.

I pray God’s Word will become a delight and joy to the prodigal as well as a source of instruction and encouragement…
