Isaiah 61:10

I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For He has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

I have no idea what garments of salvation or a robe of righteousness look like. I assume they are wedding attire only the bride of Christ could wear; something we could not imagine in earthly terms. These new clothes have already been purchased by the blood of Christ and are clothing us in the spiritual. Some day our eyes will be opened to the true beauty of them. The thought of this should bring great delight and cause our soul to rejoice.

My prayer today is that the prodigal could visualize themselves as the bride of Christ; precious to the Savior. I pray they will rejoice in the thought of Christ’s sacrifice, which purchased for them these beautiful garments of righteousness. I also pray you can envision your prodigal standing with the Lord in these magnificent garments one day.
