Psalm 13:5-6

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me.

When the prodigal son returned home to his father, who held a party to celebrate his return, it was a picture of God’s unfailing love for us. Two of the proofs of His love are the provision of salvation through His son and His goodness toward us. In response, our hearts rejoice.

I pray the prodigal will come to trust in God’s great love for them and recognize His goodness in their life.

Psalm 13:5-6
