Psalm 145:8-9

The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all He has made.

I love these verses that assure me of Gods grace, compassion and slowness to anger…. such Good News! The prodigal needs this great news to penetrate their thinking. More than likely they have been living in a deceptive lie of the enemy that God is angry with them, or just as bad, doesn’t even care about them. I want so much for them to know His love and how special they truly are to the Father.

My prayer for the prodigal is that any lie of the enemy regarding God’s view of them would be broken. I pray the truth of God’s grace and compassion would flood their heart and they would feel the richness of His love!
