Psalm 71:14-17

But as for me, I will always have a hope; I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure. I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone. Since my youth, O God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.

These verse’s, are again, an encouragement for what your prodigal will become. To hear praise and thanksgiving, for God’s righteousness and mighty acts, come out of their mouths will be an awesome thing!

If you are a parent of a prodigal, be at peace that the things you’ve taught them since childhood will come to bear weight in their life as an adult. God will be faithful to continue to teach them.
