1 John 5:14

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

It’s vitally important for the child of God to take time in His presence, listening to what He is saying so we can act on His behalf (not ours). When we align our prayers with His will, we can approach Him with confidence and know He hears us. Anything we ask, within the realm of His will, He will accomplish for us; and it will bring Him glory.

I pray the prodigal is in a position to step into His presence asking, with confidence, but according to His will.
