Psalm 30:4-5

Sing to the Lord, you saints of His; praise His holy name. for His anger lasts only a moment but His favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

These verses are a sweet reminder that God’s anger is short lived; our Savior has taken the weight of His wrath so we don’t have to experience it. In all our trials and grief, weeping will also be brief compared to the rejoicing that will follow!

Let’s pray the prodigal will recognize God’s favor on their life. May they realize the rejoicing that comes in the morning is provision from a Father who sees their tears.
