So, humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time He will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.

humble – having or showing a modest or low estimate of one’s own importance

Ah, humility… it is so hard to keep from thinking life is all about us, isn’t it? We shouldn’t long to be important in the world’s eyes; God’s opinion of us is the only one that matters. If we will allow Him to teach us humility, He will allow us to shine when the time is right. He’s all about making Himself look good and wants to do it through us. So, if we will stay humble and desire to make Him famous He will use us to do just that.

I pray my prodigal will learn easily what humility is all about, that it will come naturally to them. I also pray, they won’t be anxious about what the world thinks of them but rely on God, trusting His hand on their life.
