Isaiah 38:17

Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back.

God will allow us to reap the consequences of our rebellious nature, yet He won’t allow us to be totally destroyed. Our Father knows there is benefit in walking through difficult circumstances.

God delights in the prodigal and He is pleased to deliver them. In His love, He will allow anguish to be a teacher but we can be confidant God won’t allow one of His to be destroyed.

I pray the prodigal will learn from difficult circumstances. I pray they will feel God’s love through the struggle and out the other side and praise Him for His deliverance.

Isaiah 38:17
